After months of practice in preparation for the MS Swimming Gala, our swimmers took centre stage on the 19th of March to compete for the top spot. With various categories and age groups set for the competition, the events of the day kicked off at 9am with a warm up session led by Amara from Year 10.
The warm up session was closely followed by the curtain raiser event, which featured students swimming 25 metres in each category. These included; free-style, backstroke, breastroke and butterfly. Shortly after, the events of the day kicked off.
With the events of the gala starting off from the play-offs all the way to the finals, the MS swimmers showed heart and spirit in the competition. A hearty congratulations to the winners, the runners-up, the second runners-up and all the participants.
