The festive Christmas/New Year season which usually comes with excitement as many head on holidays is here again. You will agree that your children deserve a well-earned break from study. I praise them as they all have been superstars this past year in their own right. Some have really done it academically, through co-curricular activities and the great discipline they have maintained in school. All those areas are important and it is worthwhile to acknowledge it to our children. I am proud and thankful to you, the parents that have been of support and who have come forward to acknowledge and encourage the staff and admin for the hard work they have put in to bring about the improvement. So, THANK YOU.
This year we separated the delivery of the 3 curriculums we offer in the school. Cambridge, 8:4:4 and CBC are now being delivered separately, thanks to you and our new additional parents/students that have made this possible. Thanks also to our pioneering parents for letting us deliver the curriculums within the same classrooms for the past 22 months or so which was necessitated by the small numbers of students we had as a new school. We are growing and we promise to maintain quality without compromise. We however still need more students for proper quality delivery and operations of the school. We have hired more teachers for the purposes of separate curriculum delivery and efficiency. We are working on improved, co-curricular activities, supply of uniforms, books and much more. We are not yet there and we trust that we can still count on you to help us deliver.
‘You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful ideas in the world, but it requires people to make the dream a reality’-Walt Disney. We need you, the staff and the admin for our school to be complete. The founder, directors and the building facility alone won’t do it. The events that have attributed to our success in the past 22 months could not have happened without a great deal of commitment and support from parents, teachers, students, administration and support staff.
We took a break on 6th, December for four full weeks. Students return on Monday 6th January 2020, at 8.20am. If you are travelling, on behalf of all the staff at Mudzini School, I would like to wish you safe travels and good fortune of the festive period.
We pray for the Mudzini School community our very best wishes for the festive season. Enjoy the festivities Christmas and New Year and spend quality time with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the start of the 2020.
Safe travels and happy holidays,
From Mudzini School,
